Frequently asked questions
When will my order ship?
We’re a small team, but we move quickly. In-stock pieces ship within 3–5 business days from California. You’ll receive an order confirmation right away and a tracking email as soon as your parcel is on the way.
- Processing time: 1–3 business days (packing, quality check)
- Carrier time (US): typically 2–6 business days depending on service and distance
- Peak periods: During launches or holidays, processing may extend by 1–2 days (we’ll note this on the site banner)
If you need a rush, email hello@fallahastudio.com before ordering and we’ll do our best.
Do you ship internationally?
Our debut collection ships to the US and Canada, but we plan to add more countries in future launches.
Rates: Calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
Duties & taxes: May be charged by your country upon delivery; these are the customer’s responsibility.
Tracking: Provided for most destinations; some local carriers update less frequently after customs.
Delays: Customs review can add a few days. If your package seems stuck, reach out and we’ll help check with the carrier.

We want you to love your piece. If it isn’t quite right:
- Window: Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery for unworn, unwashed items with tags attached and in original condition/packaging.
- How to start: Email hello@fallahastudio.com with your order number and reason; we’ll reply with next steps and a return label (US only).

International returns are welcome; customers cover return shipping and any import fees back to the US.
Can I change my order or size after purchasing?
Email hello@fallahastudio.com within 24 hours. If your order hasn’t shipped, we’ll adjust it. If it’s already on the way, we’ll help with an exchange once delivered.
What if my size sells out?
We make small runs. Some styles won’t restock. Join our mailing list for first notice of new drops and returns. If you’re eyeing a style, we recommend ordering sooner rather than later.
My item arrived damaged or incorrect—what should I do?
We’re so sorry. Email hello@fallahastudio.com within 14 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll replace or refund right away and cover any shipping.
How do I choose my size?
Each product page includes a size chart, detailed fit notes, and information on the model’s size and height. Check out our How to Measure Yourself page to compare your bust, waist, and hip measurements with the chart. You can also email hello@fallahastudio.com with your measurements and preferred fit, and we’ll guide you within 1–2 business days.
How should I care for my garment?
Please refer to each product description for fabric-specific care instructions. As a general rule for pieces with machine embroidery: wash gently in cold water, avoid bleach or fabric softeners, line dry rather than tumble dry, and if ironing, always press inside out on low heat while avoiding direct contact with the embroidery. For more delicate fabrics, spot cleaning or professional dry cleaning may be recommended.
Where are your pieces made?
Fallaha is run by a small, close-knit team. We design in California and work directly with trusted manufacturers in Amman, Jordan, ensuring every piece is made with care. By keeping production small and personal, we’re able to uphold our commitment to ethical practices, fair wages, and respectful partnerships. While our debut collection is crafted in Jordan, future collections may include collaborations with additional workshops that share our same values. Every garment will always reflect our standards of quality and integrity, no matter where it’s made.
What is tatreez?
Tatreez is traditional Palestinian embroidery, a centuries-old form of cross-stitch used to decorate clothing and tell stories. Each motif carries meaning often tied to land, community, or identity and was historically passed down through generations of women.
How does Fallaha use tatreez?
We reference tatreez motifs in our designs as a way of keeping this cultural practice alive in new forms. While traditional tatreez was hand-stitched, we translate these patterns into contemporary silhouettes using modern techniques, so they can be worn and lived in every day.
Where can I learn more about tatreez?
If you’re curious about Palestinian embroidery and want to learn how to stitch it yourself, visit our sister brand Hint of Tatreez. We offer beginner-friendly kits, tutorials, and resources to help you explore the art of tatreez in an approachable way.
