About Fallaha
Fallaha started with a simple thought: what if Palestinian embroidery and traditional silhouettes could live in our everyday wardrobes, not just in museums or on special occasions?
For years, founder Eman Toom shared tatreez through her first brand, Hint of Tatreez. Teaching and designing embroidery kits opened up a world of connection, but she felt a pull to take things further and design clothing that carried the spirit of Palestinian craft into something you could reach for every day. That’s how Fallaha was born.
The name itself, fallaha (which means “female farmer” or more broadly "woman of the land") is a tribute to the Palestinian women who, for generations, used tatreez to tell stories, share their identities and resist through craft. This brand is about carrying those stories forward, while also making pieces that feel modern, wearable, and easy to love.
Fallaha is built on balance: pieces that take inspiration from thobes and traditional embroidery, but are redefined with clean lines, contemporary cuts, and fabrics that work for today. Clothing you can actually live in today, not just admire from afar.
Fallaha moves between California and Jordan. Born from life in the diaspora and brought to life with care in small batches. Every piece is made intentionally, never mass-produced, so what you wear feels meaningful and connected.
At Fallaha, we’re committed to honoring the past while creating space for the future, designing pieces that let you wear culture with pride and ease. Every piece is made with meaning.
